So I have been searching for a type of non hormonal birth control because I've had too many bad reactions to the pill and I don't want anything to distort my natural production of hormones. I google searched "non hormonal birth control" and "Smart Women's Choice" is one of the suggestions that came up. Its a gel that you insert just before you have sex and apparently it thickens the fluid that the sperm swim in and prevents them from going passed the cervix. It also says 100% of women that used it did not get pregnant which I thought was kind of strange because I didn't think any type of birth control was 100% effective. Its also supposed to be hypo allergenic and absolutely no side effects. I honestly thought it might be too good to be true thats why I wanted to ask you all if you had heard about it or tried it. It seemed to have great reviews. Kind of on the expensive side but cheaper than condoms for sure. I'm definitely considering giving it a try.

Hi there! I have personally tried Smart Women's Choice. We were hesitant about it at first and definitely thought it sounded too good to be true. But I went of the pill and we used the cream every time and did not get pregnant. I also did not ***, just made sure I used the bathroom after so everything could drop out. Our very first month of not using it bc we wanted to get pregnant, voila! I would recommend this product to any women wanting free of the pill but not wanting to become pregnant. It truly does work.

I've been using and selling this product for a year and a half. you ut a pea sized amount in just before penetration and if you want to use a lube its fine just don't mix them together first. smart women choice goes inside the vagina, lube around on the labia. its worked great for me and all the people I've sold it to. 2% of people experience irritation and the company will take the product back if you don't want it. over 20000 women have used it with no pregnancy. perhaps the friend that got pregnant on this thread didn't put it once or twice and got pregnant. that doesn't mean the cream is not awesome because it is.
